Bottles, breasts, syringes, and more….there are a lot of ways to feel our precious little ones. As a mom who has breastfed, supplemented, pumped, used formula, and finger fed, I get it. I wanted to breastfeed. For me, for my family, for my daughters, it was the right choice for us. My first daughter was fingerfed formula in the hospital until her jaundice cleared, then I nursed and supplemented with formula and pumped milk at home. After six-months, I went to full-time bottles/formula. My second daughter was fully breastfed. She drank pumped milk from a bottle until she was four-months-old and decided she HATED bottles, so until she was eighteen-months-old, she nursed (and ate solids of course)! Two kids, one set of parents, different methods. Both were fed. Both bonded with their mama and daddy. Both were cradled in love. Both grew healthfully. It is all good!
United We Feed aims to stop the mommy wars, and bridge the gap between breast-feeding and bottle feeding- to support and celebrate all mamas and to make BEAUTIFUL photographs that show just that- how we feed our babies. I can promise you, each session is filled with love and snuggles!
