Hello all! I just figured I’d pop on and give a little update! I hope you have all been well. February has been a fun smattering of snow and spring-like temps. It’s also been a mix of really busy days and really sweet relaxing ones. JP and I have gotten a lot done around the house and are really looking forward to meeting our little one in less than two months!

I’m better at pictures so I’ll stop writing and start posting pics!

Last week was my 26th birthday! We had another party to go to on my actual birthday, so my friends and family celebrated the night before with dinner at my favorite restaurant.

The next day, we had a party to go to, but JP’s family was really sweet and remembered my birthday, too:)

The countdown to Ava is definitely on! We had our childbirth class last weekend and our shower is this coming weekend. Very exciting times. In the meanwhile, I haven’t forgotten about my first, second and third babies….

Ok, take a deep breath. This couple is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E…and they brought their pug, which just puts me over the edge. We met in the freezing cold this morning at Gwynedd Mercy College and took photos to celebrate their recent engagement. I just love the love between the three of these guys…and I love K’s eyes. Yes, they’re really that color and yes, they’re real (I asked)!

7 days old…

…and positively delectable. Check out Miss A…is she not perfect in every way? She was only a week old during this shoot and she slept through most of our session. She just looked so squishy and peaceful the entire time. What a precious girl.

Mom and Dad- congratulations, you did well. Your little family is so beautiful and full of love. I really enjoyed my time with you.

At 6:58 pm last night, Michelle and Brian welcomed Anna Mae who weighed 8 lbs, 2 oz and was 20 inches long.

On Sunday I met D, G, and baby J at their house. J is six months old and is just deliciously beautiful. She has big, beautiful eyes, squooshy cheeks, and a rockin’ monster voice that she likes to bring out for giggles. D and G~ thank you for the wonderful time, the conversation (that could have gone on for days) and laughs, and for the AMAZING donut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am dreaming of them:)

I know you probably noticed that amazing ring right away- it was D’s grandmother’s ring and it was given to her last year when her grandmom passed away. She and G named their daughter after J’s great grandmother…what a special tribute. J is a lucky little chick.

I am looking forward to our session this summer!!

The best thing about networking is the friendships that come out of it! On Saturday I spent the day with my friend Sandy of Moments Caught Photography. We gabbed for a long time, played with cameras, flashes, and had two impromptu photo shoots.

The most random part of the day was when the doorbell rang while we were eating lunch. Who was it but Glen Hurricane Schwartz!?

He and his wife were house hunting in the neighborhood and wanted to ask a resident some questions. How silly and random! I giggled about it for the rest of the day. Sandy handled it much better than I did.

I’m attaching my favorite picture of Sandy from my lighting practice. This one was shot with natural light from a glass door. Ummmmm isn’t she stunningly beautiful!?

Thanks for the fun day, Sandy! Look for more about her when she does our newborn session in April! I cannot wait!!

I just heard on the news that Andrew Wyeth died today or yesterday at the age of 91.

He’s an iconic artist (local to us!) who’s style is recognizable anywhere.

So many of my friends and family have this print, I just love it:
