Hockey Hubby

JP is the biggest (Philadelphia) sports fan there is. He loves watching and playing almost all sports. Recently, he was asked to join a friend’s Rec league, so he ran out, got a stick, and jumped in the game. He hasn’t played in 10 years, so I was just impressed he didn’t puke! It was actually really fun to watch him play, and you know I couldn’t go without taking photos!!!

I am babysitting Gizmo while JP and Mike (and Bob) are at the Phillies and Michelle is at sewing class!

While they are both passed out, here are a few cute ones of Giz, and one of the two of them.

Here’s why they are dead asleep- for an hour it was this:

Poor Gizmo’s foot has an infection and he keeps licking, so his piggy is brown. They’re still so stinkin’ cute!!!

Jodi, Mark, and the "kids"

A session for a good cause….Jodi and Mark won a session with me in a silent auction that two bars in Lafayette Hill (I THINK one was Brittinghams….and the other….not sure) put on to benefit two guys who lost most everything in an apartment fire.

We met Sunday at Ft. Washington State Park and spent the morning exploring the park with Jodi’s brother (who was on dog duty during human pictures) and Willie (boxer)and Sophie (rotwieler).

Jodi and Mark have been married for 5 years…and were up for any photos I suggested. I had a great time guys, thank you for bidding on the photo session!!!

And of course- a few silly ones. This was at the end, after the pups went swimming and were pretty tired out.

PS- I’m still trying to get over the fact that at the end of the session they confessed they are Penguins AND Steelers fans…and Jodi’s brother had a COWBOYS shirt on.

Man oh man.

Anniversary, New Camera, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Stretch!!!

This week has been pretty busy.

Here are a few pictures of the beautiful bouquet JP gave me for our anniversary. It’s crazy that these flowers are red…in our six years of being together he has NEVER given me red flowers (he always gives me hot pink or orange, my two favorites). It was fun to get red for a change! In our wedding ceremony we did this little rose ceremony- so every year he is supposed to give me a white rose. The rose represents our love and the water in the vase represents the care and cultivation a relationship requires.

Anyway, here they are!

On Tuesday, I was given a bouquet of flowers by one of my students for Teacher Appreciation Week~ HOW SWEET!!!!

This weekend will be busy~ Saturday is Rosi’s home wedding reception and Sunday is Trash the Dress!!!!

Edited to add~ Our videographer did give us a nice shoutout yesterday, and he felt slighted with no mention (see comments:)). I MADE JP watch our wedding video last night. He secretly loves it so much, but getting him to sit down and watch it is close to torture. He did not want to reinact our first dance in the living room….oh well, pick your battles in life ladies!
