Slumbering Sweetly * Philadelphia Newborn Photography
Posted on March 19, 2012
This sweet little lady gets the award for easiest newborn session EVER. She was just a beautiful ball of sleepiness the entire time I was there! She smiled every once and while, gave us a snort, and then snuggled deeper into a delicious slumber. My theory is that this child is just NOT ready to be an “outside” baby yet~ her poor mama was TWO weeks overdue when they induced her, and even then, pretty little E was in no hurry to exit her warm bed. I kept repeating, “This is just not normal..you know that, right? She is ah-may-zing!!!!” Her parents giggled and nodded as they watched their tiny little angel pleasantly dreaming. Perfection!!!

Precious Little Jackson * North Penn Newborn Photography

Meet baby Jackson! He was the most precious of peanuts~ weighing in at a whopping 5lbs, it was like snuggling a little doll!
Jackson’s parents are utterly smitten with him already and it is completely obvious as to why they would be so- he is practically perfect in every way.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your story, D family!!!!

Check out this behind the scenes action~ at 5lbs, the little honey bear was CHILLY! We couldn’t keep him warm enough, so we gave him the spa treatment—warm air and white noise!
It worked like a charm!

Meet Baby Leo!
Posted on March 2, 2012
I had the pleasure of meeting these two in December when I was invited into the city for their maternity session. After sending their image gallery, I got the best email ever–”Caitlin, we are so happy with everything, let’s book the newborn session, too!” Woo hoo!
Here are some of their images from their maternity session~

Naturally, I was very eager to hear the good news, so I checked in with mama every few weeks or so, but was always met with the same- still waiting, he is stubborn! As I look back at these images, and remember how nice our early morning session was, I think, yup, these babies are so worth the wait!!!
Leo is handsome, just like his daddy and sweet just like his mama. He was beyond cooperative for us, and he even let dad and I get creative (check ou the soccer flag below)!
Thank you so much, I am so happy to help you welcome Leo to the world!

Leo’s papa was kind enough to send me this gem of ME hanging with Leo!

Welcome, Baby Noah!!! * Philadelphia Newborn Photography
Posted on February 21, 2012
I usually take all bookings through email, and every once and awhile, a client asks me to give them a call before they make their final decision, which is always welcomed by me. Martha was one of the clients that asked me to call, so I did, and we clicked instantly on the phone. She asked me some questions and I told her about the way I like to run newborn sessions. We talked about the fact that my husband, her husband and her are all accountants, and how crazy this time of year can be. We said good bye, and within a few days, I received an email telling me she and her husband were ready to book.
Fast forward a few weeks, my husband gets a text message from his colleague, “Is your wife a photographer?” Turns out, my husband and his colleagues recently spent several weeks working on a project at Marta’s job! Small world! It was only when my husband sent an email to Martha did she put the two together. Even funnier, JP’s cousin, our super amazing CPA also works with Martha!!!!
I had a great time getting to know this family, especially beautiful little Noah- he was an angel for us!!!!! Congratulations, W family!!!!!

Welcome, Baby Avery! * Montgomery County, PA Newborn Photography
Posted on February 20, 2012
I am so happy to introduce precious Miss Avery to you! This session was a Christmas gift to Avery and her parents, and what an awesome gift it was (IF I do say so myself!). Even better, Avery’s mama and I went to school together but had not seen each other since the good old days at Pennridge High School! I drove to their house in a small snow storm last Saturday, and the mood inside was just like the snow- calm, serene, and peaceful, but thankfully, the house was much warmer than outside:)
Thank you all for inviting me in to meet Avery, and for letting me sneak so many snuggles in, she is just perfect!!!!
