Remember Maura???

Posted on October 26, 2008

Maura is a little cutie that I photographed this July (check it out here). I had the absolute pleasure of photographing her again this Saturday. We met at The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia—which by the way, it’s the new one and it’s AMAZING. Nothing like the old one!

I couldn’t believe how much Maura has changed, just in the last few months. It seems she has gone from baby to spunky toddler! We had a great time following her around and watching her explore.

Enjoy K and V!

Your favorite ladies are back!

Posted on October 23, 2008

Remember Meg and Julie in their white dresses this summer? We had a freezing cold session in 43 degree weather last weekend. We met in Doylestown and had a little tour looking for the coolest spots to take pictures. The girls greeted me with a huge hug and entertained me with their normal wackiness.

Enjoy your preview…and please book me again:) You are all just too much fun!

Client Preview: D Family

Posted on October 17, 2008

Oh man, this little chick is CUTE! And she has a puppy to boot- it doesn’t get much better than that. I met this sweet family at Peace Valley Park (one of my favorites) for a gorgeous fall session. Mom, dad, and Miss S. all looked completely stylin’ in their coordinated outfits.

Thank you for being soooo easy going and fun, and good luck with your amazingly cute pupper!!!

Some of my most favorite kids!

Posted on October 13, 2008

These are my husband’s cousins! We picked them up on Saturday and took them to Burholme Park to get some Christmas card pictures taken. We left their parents at home (heheh) and took the dog. They did so well! The oldest, Frankie, acted shy and embarrassed but as you can see, he totally totally loved it. Gianna, the youngest, is as always fabulous. She’s gorgeous and sweet and a little sass-burger! She sat so nicely and gave me the loveliest looks…and all of a sudden she snuck in a picture where she stuck out her tongue and raised her eye brows!!! The whole thing took 1 second because she went back to looking angelic right after but I caught it! JP and I were falling over laughing. Tommy is the middle kid- he’s like a little man. He was dressed so neatly, followed my directions, and begged to have Sammy the dog in almost every picture. His heart secretly belongs to pugs, but he assured us he would not trade Sammy in for a pug:)

Gina, Tom, enjoy!!!!!!

Client Preview : J Family

Posted on October 12, 2008

Last Sunday I met the J family at the Covered Bridge Park in New Britain. This was actually the first session I’ve ever done there!

This family won a session with me at an auction at Elbow Lane Nursery School’s Family Fun Day (thank you!!!).

We had a great time exploring, not falling in the water, and looking for the bonfire (which turned out to be a fireplace in the woods). All three kids kept me busy, as they climbed, spun on the merry go round, dug in the water, walked on a fallen log, and hid in a huge pipe! I love the eyes in this family- absolutely stunning. We even got to take pictures on dad’s pride and joy- his YELLOW truck! Sorry I know nothing about cars, or I would go more in depth about it:)

Enjoy your preview!

Meet….the L Family!

Posted on October 9, 2008

I met this adorable family on Saturday, just as a wedding was about to take place on the grounds!! Luckily we had an hour until the bride arrived, and even more luckily these kids knew how to model (and they didn’t make me chase them like the little guys!).

Their son brought his guitar and played a few songs for us. He was so sweet and played really well! I LOVE the pictures of him playing. Their daughter was just precious. She was giggley and beautiful.

L family, thank you for a wonderful session!

Philadelphia Sketch Club- PHOTOgraphy 2008

Posted on October 2, 2008

I received notice today that “United We Stand?” made it into this year’s Juried Photography Show at The Philadelphia Sketch Club!!!! For those of you who aren’t familiar with juried art shows, you submit 1-3 framed pieces and one or two judges choose which shows are going to be in the show.

I am thrilled to be in it for the second year in a row. Last year “Momento Dolce” and “Divine Lorraine” made it in, and “Momento Dolce” won The Tony Rubel Prize for Figure Photography.

The gallery opening is October 12 from 2-5pm. The exhibition will run from October 10 through October 26, 2008.
