Meet Kamila and Chris:)

Many of you will recognize this beautiful lady from Kamila Harris Photography. If you are local then you know she is a big wedding photographer in the area. I have been fortunate to become friends with Kamila ever since I won the Trash the Dress contest back in May. Imagine my excitement when she contacted me to book a session for her five year anniversary with her husband. We emailed about the session for a few weeks as we brainstormed fun places in Doylestown to shoot.

This was the first time I ever shot in the evening (6:30-8:30), and you’ll agree, the results are fabulous.

I had to say goodbye to an awesome student last week (she’s moving on to kindergarten and leaving me boooo). She drug me to her cubby and pulled out a gift for me- check out the handmade card:

Last week was 5 years since mom died. JP and I decided to go to the park with the pup and take some photos to get our minds off things.

Great news! I was accepted to be a photographer for The Littlest Heroes Project!

What is The Littlest Heroes Project?

The Littlest Heroes Project is a non-profit based organization made up of professional photographers nationwide that provide free photo sessions to our nations Littlest Heroes. This is their way of giving back and taking a stand for these children who sometimes feel forgotten because of their illnesses. We are here to let them know that they are heroes to many, and to share their inspirational stories and photos with the world.

If you have a child, or know a child, who suffers from any type of serious illness we are here to help. The Littlest Heroes Project provides you with a complimentary photo shoot for your hero and family. Please read the information on this site and be sure to contact us so we can help pair you up with a photographer from your area. The whole family … Super Sibs and the Brave Parents are welcome to participate in the session as well!

Who is eligible?

Any child or young person (Infant-21) that is currently fighting or has fought or suffers from any of the following: Alopecia, AIDS, Bell’s Palsy, Cancer,Chiari Malformation,Cystic Fibrosis, Cerebral Palsy, CHD,Childhood Stroke, Servere Diabetes, Down Syndrome, HIV,Immune System disorders and diseases, Kidney Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, Neurocutaneous Syndromes, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Sickle Cell Anemia, Spina Bifida, Tay-Sachs Disease
(If your child’s illness is not listed and you are interested, please e-mail felicia@littlestheroesproject.org … This is just a basic list of illnesses of children we have already photographed!

My sister’s shower

On Saturday, I (with the help of many) threw my sister‘s baby shower. My gracious cousin allowed us to take over her home, and man was it perfect. Devon got a ton of diapers, gifts from her registry, and cute clothing.

Devon’s friend Melisa bought Bob an emergency (EMT) delivery kit in case she’s in labor in the car (a fear Bob has)!

Meet KC, Mike and Lilly!

This was the coolest session ever-we went to the ZOO!!! Miss Lilly is full of spunk~ she wore her “zoo hat” for the pictures…which KC says has never been her zoo hat until that morning! I love how KC and Mike were so laid back- you want to wear your zoo hat? Ok, that will work. Too cute. Lilly zipped all over the zoo as we all dripped in sweat trying to keep up with her. She’s at that awesome age where everything she sees produces a little gasp of breath.

I recently did a session for KC who won the drawing at Celebrate Mama. KC owns this fabulous business called The Diaper Bag Wrangler where she makes and sells diaper bags, burp cloths, bags for wet diapers, barrettes, kimono tees, booties and bib clips (there’s even more on her site!). All items are hand made and are very high quality. I couldn’t stop petting them when I visted her table:)
