Taken by my wonderful hubby—who has come a long way in working the camera!!!  We were closed this past weekend for Easter and to enjoy family that were in town, and this coming weekend we will also be closed due to baby girl’s first birthday and another family party—busy weekends!

Today I was lucky enough to be invited to a friend’s studio to get some photos taken of Ava in her christening gown, so I will wait until I have those (they’re going to be sickly cute) to show you in her full get-up.  In the meantime, here’s another getting ready shot, courtesy of my brother, Brett!

Yesterday was my daughter’s baptism. The days leading up to it where hectic and a little stressful, trying to get a party ready with a baby all while holding sessions and editing in the wee hours of the morning.  My little brother drove up (over? down?) from Rutgers and snapped some photos for me while I got Ava ready.  This picture is the epitome of what it means to have a daughter.  I love that he captured this quiet and tender moment on her big day.

As you know, we’ve teamed up with www.mamacheaps.com to fight breast cancer- a cause near and dear to our hearts as we lost our own mom six years ago to the disease.

On Friday night, Devon and I threw a party for our closest family and friends- A Pink Martini Ladies Night—sponsored by Johnson & Johnson!

We had a ton of fabulous giveaways and raised $400!
