Yesterday I had an amazing opportunity to go with my sister and her husband to the 3d ultrasound. A whole little gang went to see the baby and support Devon. It was awesome!!!!! The ultrasound was at Baby’s First Peek in Chalfont.

What a nice place- Dr. Tom was so extremely friendly and genuine the entire time. At the end he even printed a photo for each guest, how cool!

Meet Julia and Meg!

I often say each session I do becomes my new favorite, and this one is no exception. I met Julia, Meg, and their mom, Melissa at Peace Valley Park. We took the Evergreen Trail to the pond and then the Pooh Tree Loop where we looked for Pooh and Tigger in Pooh’s house. Finally we finished up at the lake, and I am just loving all the shots we got. Julia is the mature older sister, who is full of facts and common sense, with the occasional bout of silliness. Meg was the typical little sister- wild and wacky! I had a lot of fun chasing these two around, and nothing could beat the mouth on Meg:) The things that she said just had her mom and I doubled over in laughter the entire time.

Meet the Rileys

The Riley’s are a very special family to me. Their daughter Anna is one of my most favorite girls ever. She’s sweet and sassy, and has a belly laugh that could knock you into another town. The baby, Evan, showed me a new side of him yesterday when he cried during (almost) the whole session! Every once and awhile he threw me a smile that is enough to melt 10 hearts, so I got my fix. Jenn and Ralph~ silly, fun, fabulous parents. I told Ralph he looks like Vince Vaughn, which wasn’t a surprise to them. Jenn casually mentioned that she must look like Jennifer Aniston and I assured her she was much better looking! This family has a classic beauty about them.

On Saturday, we braved the 90+ degree weather to do a photo shoot with little Kate. Ericha tagged along (always fun to have another photog!) and met up with Tish and her daughter Kate (you remember Kate from here and here and here ) at Mercer Museum in Doylestown.

As she’s getting older, she’s starting to like getting her picture taken…and even got a bit sassy at times!!!!! She’s just insanely gorgeous and sweet!

Today I am working on a special project with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (www.bucksiu.org). I am taking photographs of several of their students in different parts of the county. Look for these photographs in the Annual Report to the Community (8 page color book) next year and there will also be a large display by the front door in the office of framed photos from the day!

I am not sure if I will be able to post a preview, but I will post an update to let you know how it goes!

All my prints are now hanging at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (hi JoAnn!) and they look awesome! The black and whites are in the early childhood office (my department), and until this week, the walls were completely blank.

Everybody at work has been really supportive and excited to have the photos hanging which is such a compliment.

I have some neat things cooking this week, look for an update soon!

As most of you know, I am a special education teacher during the week for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit in Bucks County.

I recently found out that both the human resources department and the early intervention office (my office) are interested in displaying my work! Here are the photos they chose!!!
