About Caitlin

     Award-winning photographer Caitlin Domanico is a mother to Ava Paulina, and has been married to her husband JP since May of 2007.

Domanico launched Photography by Caitlin Domanico, LLC in 2007. In 2011, she introduced Philly Baby Photography, giving a special name and space to her specialty- maternity, newborn and baby photography. In January 2012, Caitlin launched Snap Shops, Photography Workshops for Women where she meets with women of all ages to teach them how to make better photos by understanding how their camera works.  Workshops are empowering and are purposefully set in an intimate setting of ladies to encourage growth and support among local women.  To see more information, please visit www.snapshopmamarazzi.com

Domanico’s work has been displayed in private galleries, juried art shows, boutiques, local businesses, and most recently, a solo art show.  Her awards include Best Children’s Photographer of Philadelphia (2011) and the  recipient of the Tony Rubel Prize for Figure Photography (2007).

In addition to being a skilled photographer, Caitlin Domanico is a special education teacher. She has earned her Masters of Education (M.Ed.) along with Special and Elementary Education certifications from Chestnut Hill College and the state of Pennsylvania. She has been teaching as a special education teacher in Bucks County since 2006, and was an elementary school teacher in Philadelphia for a year prior. In addition, she has five previous years experience working with children of all abilities (camp counselor, nurse’s aid, respite caregiver, teacher’s aide, tutoring, and volunteering). Caitlin is energetic, caring and patient. She truly believes each child is an amazing gift and is confident your session will capture their beauty—inside and out!
