Snap Happy Minis: Mini Sessions for Charity

Last year, we held a day of mini sessions called Ava’s Tea Party. We were outside all day in 100 degree heat, but it was lovely!!!! This year, we held another day-long Tea Party but re-named them to Snap Happy Minis. Mainly because I don’t want to be held to doing tea parties forever, but really love doing minis for charity, so I consulted my friend Kate who is deliciously creative and she came up with Snap Happy Minis~ perfect!  I giggled because I am short, overly happy, and love snapping away, so it was just perfect!

This year, we accepted even more famililes (thirty!) but limited it to two children per slot. That was much easier to handle. We held it at Tilly Mint’s Tea Room in Souderton and planned the set with Meredith of That’s My Kinda Party and used a beautiful hand-painted silk runner by Reed Silk Studio.  I had a band of volunteers helping day of and we gave each group cupcakes from Kathy’s Just Desserts!  My new friend Sue even came and sold Origami Owl lockets, and is donating 25% to our fundraising efforts!!!! You can contact her ASAP if you’d like to purchase under our party, I’ll re-post the deal at the end of this post!

Last year, we donated $1000 to Mommy’s Light, and this year we will be donating to Ridge Crest Pediatrics.  I am still getting donations in but am happy to say it’s more than $1000! :)

Here are some sneak peeks to hold you over!!!!

PS~ If you love what you see, please consider voting for us! Last year we were voted the #1 Children’s Photographer in Philadelphia and would LOVE to place in the top three again this year, for the third year in a row!!!
