These two little ones were a trip. I still cannot believe how much A has grown and how gorgeous L is (it was my first time meeting her).  Their parents were cool and kind as ever, and we a good time catching up, reminiscing about past shoots, dodging cars and three-year-old tantrums, and catering to baby L’s needs (she was so LOW maintenance!!!).

You saw her in her tiny sneak peek, and as a newborn.  Baby L is just as sweet and sassy as ever. She had an entourage surrounding her and her many (amazing) outfits and she really held up- especially because we were inches away from naptime! I always look forward to working with L’s family because I get to be entertained by her silly grandfather- he’s a HUGE help during sessions- holding puppets, making crazy noises, I just might have to hire him!

I have had the pleasure of photographing The B family twice before our session this weekend. Last I saw them, they were preparing to welcome a beautiful baby girl into their family- sweet Little L! What a difference ten months makes!!!! Sweet A has grown. He’s mature. He’s serious. He’s demanding. He’s charming. He’s adventurous. He likes a good laugh. He’s trying to find his way in this world—he’s THREE! Sweet L is now ten months old. She’s petite. She’s easy-going. She’s giggly. She’s interested in her big brother. She loves to eat and she loves to sleep!

This mama and I scheduled her maternity session toward the end of her pregnancy and I was a LITTLE nervous when her scheduled session got rained out. Thankfully, baby girl obeyed us and stayed put for our reschedule the following weekend.  Baby girl’s big brothers kept us VERY busy! J, the oldest, brought HIS camera which was really fun to play around with. He was a very good helper! Little L was a wild little bundle of energy~ silly and ready to play!  After we finished with the family photos, mom stayed back with me to take a few more shots without any cute distractions:)

Is it me or is this totally the toddler version of Heath Ledger?? He’s BEAUTIFUL!

Can you believe she was due in just a few short weeks?? She’s teeny and absolutely breath-taking!

Beautiful Baby A is actually about six weeks old in these pictures, but you would never know- she snuggled up and  slept like a sweet little newborn for us! Her big brothers, Max and Yoda (Mixx and Yoooo-Duh as my Ava calls them) watched protectively during the entire session and enjoyed participating whenever invited!

I was insanely excited to receive this client inquiry because A’s mom and I grew up together! We had a mutual friend and reconnected annually at birthday parties, slumber parties and even a few family shore trips! It’s been at least ten years since we saw each each other, but we both laughed like old times and both couldn’t believe how the other had not changed in looks:)

J and M, it was so nice to work with you….Miss A is a gem!
