Ever wish you had a comprehensive list of restaurants that focus on using locally grown produce?  Visit Philly.com has created a website called Philly Homegrown just for that purpose!  Need to find a farmer’s market? Check there! Want to sample local brews? They have it!  Want to know what produce is in season? Yup, they have it.

I am so in love with all of my newborn sessions! Each one is equally as precious, but they all have a unique flair to them.

Each newborn session contains:

sleepy mommies and daddies

babies who are learning how to be babies

babies who love to eat, sleep, and poo (!)

often include dogs who love their new little playmate

awe

wonder

dreams

love

cuddles

This session was no exception,  but you would never be able to tell that these two new parents were totally exhausted- look at them! Baby S is already completely in love with her mama and daddy, she even held dad’s hand during one of the pictures–on her own!

Thank you for letting me be apart of this beautiful time in your lives, and just remember, it all gets so much easier (and restful!) down the road, but these will be cherished (sleepy) memories:)!

More etsy love this week. I often get emails from clients who are distraught over little boy wardrobe choices for their family shoot. What about spicing it up a bit? These ties are INSANELY cute and would rock any baby or toddler session!!! There are tons of vendors out there, but this one in particular caught my eye.

Baby I is amazingly cute and at 11 days old, she was still teeny tiny- she was born a few days after her due date and still managed to fit in preemie outfits! So precious!

We have been making a big effort to get familiar with our local farms. So far we have bought a ton of produce, and a ton of homemade ice cream and milk. Our next step is eggs and hopefully meat. Last week, we checked out Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting. They seem to have it all- fresh produce, meat, eggs, milk, gifts, and pick-your-own zinnias!
