Would you like to win a family photography session to take place in the evening (in the sweet summer evening sun, there’s nothing better!!!) on Monday, August 2?!!?

Cost: This session is absolutely FREE to you, if you win.
How to Submit: 1 digital photo of your child per person may be submitted to Caitlin@caitlindomanico.com between 6/21/10 and 6/28/10 (submissions will be accepted until 11:59pm on 6/28).
Who can Submit?: Any person 18 and over who would like to win a photo session.
Session Details: The session will take place at 6 or 7pm on Monday August 2. The session will take place in North Wales, PA. You will receive a CD with at least 20 fully edited high resolution images.
Voting: Voting will begin on Wednesday, June 30 via our Facebook Fanpage. All submitted images will be loaded in a special album for the contest. By submitting a photo, you fully agree to rules and give posting permissions to Photography by Caitlin Domanico, LLC.

Client Preview : The L Family * Philadelphia Family Photography by Caitlin Domanico

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting a beautiful family midday, mid-week!  I dropped Ava off with my niece and sister, and enjoyed some coffee and a nice ride through Philadelphia, and into New Jersey~ more specifically, Moorestown.  I was really excited to meet this family, and also to explore the town- it’s hailed as one of THE best places to live!

The family did not disappoint. They were the cutest ever, and their son J was an angel for the entire session.  Mom and Dad had chosen a few cool places the night before and had stored photos on their iphone… GREAT idea!  Unfortunately, we only went to ONE of their spots, but fortunately, that spot was perfect. I just didn’t want to leave it!

I love returning to my college whenever possible, whether I am doing a session there or attending an event, it is always good to run into old professors, old acquaintances, and to smell that good old CHC smell.  Chestnut Hill College is nestled in a tiny corner at the tip of Philadelphia.  It boasts old castle-like buildings rich with history, a beautiful shopping district up the street, and a personal experience that is given to all students.

Here is my honey rocking her camera at the college!

She is just finally getting to the point where she will sit with me in short spurts, so we broke the movie up and I have to say, we BOTH enjoyed it!! Ava’s a little too young to hear all about my love for Madeline, so I will share it with you all instead!

Fashion Friday * Bucks County Family Photographer

Fashion Friday, WHAT!? I know, awesome, right? Thanks to Nicole, my amazing graphic designer for our newest header-thinger!

One of the biggest questions I receive from clients is, “Caitlin, what should we wear??!?”

I provide a clothing guide to all booked clients, but I have noticed that people still stress over clothing! As my photographer friends can attest, I do the exact same thing for my family photos and often show up with like 4 outfits per person.  I love looking for cool clothes for my daughter, so I figured why not do a weekly clothing feature?  I will generally feature a male and female outfit, whether they are infant, toddler, children, or adults. If I am really inspired, I will include a FAMILY of outfits—yikes!  I plan to highlight high-end stores as well as budget-friendly so everybody can find something to spark their interest.

Without further ado, welcome to week ONE of Fashion Friday!!!!!

These two outfits do not really match, but they are both cool in their own right. These summer toddler outfits can be found at Janie and Jack (local people, there is one at the King of Prussia Mall).  I love me a trendy, gorgeous sundress and this one is just perfect. I love the white, blue and black contrast and would put it on my daughter in a second if we owned it.  For the little boy’s outfit, instead of matching, I tried to find something that would be cool from head-to-toe. Look at those shoes!!! Ahhh! Preppy and adorable.

Client Preview: The C’s * Philadelphia Baby Photography by Caitlin Domanico

My niece is a red-head, and so is my brother, so I tend to be particularly smitten with red-headed babes. Baby C is three-months old and she is beautiful just like her mama.  This session was done all in one spot due to the fact that the window light was completely perfect. We just couldn’t make ourselves move!

Baby C was sweet and cooperative, not even needing a change or a feed- low-maintenance! She is just awesome!
