I made this! It was part of my niece’s Christmas present. I learned how to sew this fall at ACPPA with KC!

I have a ton of hobbies and lately they include anything that involves my daughter, photography, cooking, and sewing.

They’re all such great outlets! What are your favorite stress relievers?

Let’s help.

If you are like me, you are moved by the devastation in Haiti.  The stories that are surfacing are miraculous, amazing, and heartbreaking.  So many children became orphans, men and women lost their children and spouses. The pain is unfathomable and leaves me feeling helpless.

I want to do my small part to help Haiti, to give back, and to honor those lives lost. In honor/memory of all those suffering, especially the beautiful children and babies, Ericha Farrington and I are teaming up to offer you a chance to WIN a free session with both of us to be held on the morning of Saturday, March 6th, at a location of your choice in Bucks, Montgomery, or Philadelphia counties.

Want a chance to win?

You and your immediate family (this includes babies, children, or spouse, up to 5 people) could win a photo session on March 6th!

• This session will be photographed by myself AND Ericha and will be held the morning of Saturday, March 6th.
• Session is for up to 5 people and will last between 1-2 hours.
• Winner will also receive 25 fully processed, high resolution images on CD. Print to your heart’s content!

How to win:

• Make a MINIMUM donation of $10 to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.
• Forward a copy of your receipt to caitlin@caitlindomanico.com. I will send you a confirmation email when I receive it.
• All entries must be RECEIVED by midnight (eastern time) on January 30th.
• Winner will be drawn at random and announced on January 31st.
• You can enter as many times as you’d like, but each entry must be the minimum $10 donation.

Other details:

• Session participants must sign a model release.
• Session must be held in Philadelphia, Bucks or Montgomery Counties on March 6th 2010.
• If the winner cannot claim the prize by February 4th, then another winner will be drawn.

Meet L & D, ridiculously cute L&D.  I’ve known Liz for quite some time as her sister was my college roommate! This was my first time meeting D and I am so happy I got to give my approval before they tie the knot later this year;)

Thank you, L&D for braving the frigid temps, for making the drive from NYC, and for being so FUN! Congratulations again, I cannot wait to see the wedding pictures!

PS- Col, thanks for you dog-handling, coffee-toting, bag-toting skills! We couldn’t have done it without you!!!!

Seriously Cool Stuff Saturday

Your local library.  I have always loved trips to the library- trips as a kid, and as an adult. I love browsing for mindless “chick-lit”, for finding a new photography book, cookbook, or maybe even a gardening book.  Yesterday, I took my daughter for her first time. I was not sure if she would like it or if she was too young, but she LOVED IT! We sat and read books, played with puppets, and looked at pictures on the wall.

These two came all the way from London just for our session!

Okay, okay, and to meet their baby nephew, and to visit family and friends…….:) G is my brother’s best friend and I have literally known G since he was born. His sister happens to be MY best friend!  M, G’s wife, is the sweetest, most thoughtful person I have ever met. Even though they are stationed in England (G is in the Navy), M doesn’t miss a birthday, a holiday, or a chance to check in. She’s the glue that keeps all of us connected across the pond!

When G was stationed in Guantanamo Bay, we did a session of M and their chocolate lab as a present to G so this time around it was good to have BOTH of them in the photos!!! Their dog did not make the photo shoot this time as he is staying with friends in England…hopefully in a few years we will get the whole family together in one shot!!!

M, G, LOVE YOU! See you this summer!
