Sunday Snapshot[s]
Posted on December 29, 2009

SS is a day late, but I think it’s worth it–today we took Ava and my niece to Disney on Ice. We weren’t sure how Ava would like it, but she LOVED it! She danced the whole time and shrieked at all the characters. The experience was priceless!
Ava and Lily held hands several times throughout the show.

She stood almost the entire time!

Philly Photog Shoot Out
Posted on December 21, 2009
On Friday, I had the absolute pleasure of being apart of the *Philly Photog Shootout*. Photographers from the area gathered in the frigid city air to network, learn, and SHOOT! We had these amazing models (who are actually just “real” people) who completely froze to allow us to get fantastic shots of them along the theme of Punk Rock Bridals. A huge thanks to Rob Nicholson for arranging. There were so many people that made it possible, please see below for my list of thanks!
Robyn and Josh, an engaged couple

And Jess, a derby girl!

I am sure you will see more soon, these are just a few of my favorites!

Sunday Snapshot[s]
Posted on December 20, 2009

We had a bit of a blizzard yesterday, if you count almost 2 FEET of snow as a blizzard…. Here are the results. I’m sure there are many more wonderful sights to see in the snow but I did not venture passed my front door:)
Thanks to my WONDERFUL hubs who has kept the path clear for the pups, the pizza delivery guy last night AND cleared our cars (though I think he will have to do one more round today!).
We live in a snowglobe!

This week’s SCSS: Borderline creepy mall pix
Every kid has to get them taken. Ava was great when we went with my mother in law, but when we went with my father in law, we had to wait SO long that she had had it by the time we got up to him.
We staged this one because she just STARED at the camera for the first four or so pictures.

We sat her down and she screamed bloody murder, so I gave her her babydoll and she just happened to stop crying and look at him, so we went with it.

Let’s Play!
Posted on December 16, 2009
Like I said, we had a lot of time on Saturday and little C just kept sleeping, so we decided to play! These aren’t what I would typically do for a newborn session, but we were getting all the shots we had planned for, so we let loose a bit.
Here are a few of my favorites.

Client Preview: K Family * Montgomery County PA Newborn Photographer
Posted on December 15, 2009
Just a short few weeks ago I was taking J and N’s maternity photos and already, Baby C is here! He is handsome and quite delectable. Within three days I worked with two newborns and their personalities could not have been any more opposite- C slept. And slept. And then he slept some more. He woke up, got a diaper change, and then slept again!
C rings in as the youngest baby I have ever photographed (formerly 10 days old), he was a brand new 8 days old! I am going to break this preview up into two posts because we really took our time and “played” a bit. As always, I had a wonderful time with you guys.
When you are finished, check out N’s business—without her I would be so lost. She is the creator of my logo, Ava’s birth announcements and all kinds of beautiful fabulous-ness! *Voila Customs*

Love these second skin cocoons from Custom Photo Props-

What a connection already!
