Dapper. It’s the only way to describe this little guy. He showed up in a blazer, collared shirt and hat!!!!! Ahhhh! So cute.
F and his mama were such wonderful models. F kept us on our toes by playing with balloons and running at the speed of light. I’m pretty sure we all needed a nap after this session, but it was so very worth it (plus we didn’t have to work out that day because of all our running!)
.
Enjoy S family!

Every so often I get the chance to work with families with teenagers and it’s a change up for sure. These guys didn’t run away from me! [It's the little things!]
It’s fun working with older kids/teenagers because you can collaborate WITH them and let them come up with some ideas of their own. I’m so glad we finally got this session to happen!
Enjoy:)

About to go off to college, she could be a model!

Yea, he used to be a model…not even kidding.

This family can be described as nothing else but FUN! They’re creative and silly, the best combination! We had some plans for this session, which morphed into other ideas (a few location changes and broken ornaments later…)!
I can’t get over how much the oldest boy looks like dad, the younger boy looks like mom, and their little princess is a combination of the two!
I loved seeing you guys again, can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

We told D she had to pretend to be a “bad elf”….

HA! So cute!

Today I was lucky enough to be invited to a friend’s studio to get some photos taken of Ava in her christening gown, so I will wait until I have those (they’re going to be sickly cute) to show you in her full get-up. In the meantime, here’s another getting ready shot, courtesy of my brother, Brett!

Perfection.

Yesterday was my daughter’s baptism. The days leading up to it where hectic and a little stressful, trying to get a party ready with a baby all while holding sessions and editing in the wee hours of the morning. My little brother drove up (over? down?) from Rutgers and snapped some photos for me while I got Ava ready. This picture is the epitome of what it means to have a daughter. I love that he captured this quiet and tender moment on her big day.
Love it love it love it.

Yes, I know the Yankees won, but we took these last weekend and it deserves a little attention that the Phillies made it to the World Series two years in a row. Great season Phils! See ya in just a few months!

Well, what do you want me to say? This is my absolute most favorite baby after my own. This is my most favorite mama and daddy after myself and JP! If you have been with me for awhile you’re saying, “hello, we know! It’s Mamacheaps and Biker Bob!” What does that mean to you newbs? Well let me tell you. Mamacheaps is your portal to all things frugalista. Win contests, get MAJOR coupons, read product reviews, and so much more!
Oh right, I guess I should note, Lily is my niece. Devon is my sister. Bob is my brother-in-law. At this point, they are my ONLY immediate family living in this state (on my side). Our mom passed away 6 years ago, dad and stepmom live in TX, little brother is at school in NJ. Thankfully, my sister lives 10 minutes away from us, in our childhood home. I can call her day or night with good news or bad and she will always help me out. Ava and I frequently find ourselves making our way over there for some coffee and laughter!
This is part one. Why? Because I have two sessions today and wanted to post a few real quick! Very special meaning behind the location- Devon and I did our grad and undergrad there, our mom and grandmother completed their undergrad there! It’s where we were when we met our husbands, and some of our very best friends. We survived nuns, floods, all-nighters, and the general craziness that comes with attending an all-girls college. If our girls go there, they will be fourth generation. Pretty amazing huh?
Okay! On with the pictures! I am headed out the door to Doylestown and Valley Forge today–I have some great client sessions planned!

I love this one- she’s in the shadows and her hair looks so RICH!

I am very blessed with this business to have several repeat customers and this family is one of them. Last I saw M and B, M was pregnant. Fast forward to our session, little A is just sweet as can be…and you know I cannot resist a baby in a Little Lesiw headband -my daughter lives in them!
Talk about being flexible, we had to cancel our first scheduled session because A took a spill the night before our first session. We had a new date scheduled, but M had asked me to call her if I got any last minute reschedules. Saturday presented such an opportunity. I woke them up at 7am (sorry guys!) after receiving a call that my scheduled client was sick. We planned to meet at 9:30am and as I started to get ready, it started to pour! We shot at CHC so thankfully we were covered!
M Family, you are just beautiful. Thank you for being amazingly flexible, loyal clients–I am truly thankful for you!

I love this…a stolen quiet moment for mom and dad. The dreary day set the backdrop for a moody romantic photo opp.

Oh my, this session is a LONG time coming! We got rained out. A lot. Our schedules didn’t mesh. Often. We ran out of light. Once.
The wait was so so so worth it! We ended up with the perfect day- beautiful temperature, crisp fall leaves, and NO RAIN! It was a pleasure to meet the F family again, this time in a different location for some variety. Little D warmed up to me instantly and was a total riot the whole session.
Enjoy!!
PS- Mr. F. (or should I say Officer F.)- thank you for reminding me I had two days to get my car inspected—my father in law took care of it for me that weekend! Life moves so fast and it is easy to forget about little (okay, big) things like that!
