This little girl is a whip for sure.  She’s waiting (forever) in line with her daddy at the mall today to see Santa. She was such a good girl for two hours (one hour in the food court while Santa was on break, one in line) and then SCREAMED on his lap. At least she was happy in line!

PS: Check out Ava wearing her first barrette. Swoon!!!!

Oh my, I totally missed S.C.S.S. this week!  Please accept my Sunday edition…….the newest member of our family: RAMBO the doxie puppy!

Everybody prepare yourselves to say, “Awwww”.  Little “A” got out of the car and jumped right into my arms where he stayed until we were ready to walk.  What a love bug!  As we started walking I said, “He’s three, right?” Both his parents looked at me like I was crazy and said, “Oh no he’s one and a half.”  WHAT? haha I have no idea where I got that idea from (especially because their paperwork did NOT say he was three…).

You will see another behind the scenes photo in this preview. I do not bring candy or snacks with me, but if a parent does I am not beyond using them to my benefit!

Okay ladies, get ready to email this post to your husband.  S (the husband) contacted me weeks ago to see if I could help him surprise his wife by purchasing and carrying out a photo shoot with their twin babies as a Christmas present to her.  I love when clients contact me to help them execute a surprise!!! I have to say, so far it has always been the wife who surprises the husband, with the exception of a mother purchasing it for her daughter and son-in-law. What thoughtful clients I have!

Thankfully, a few days before the shoot, S decided to tell M.  I was happy he did because I got to see her again! Last I saw F & E, they were a mere four weeks old, and five pounds each!  Here they are at four months old….insane, huh? They are precious.  They did so well, they even snuggled in a basket together!!!!

B family, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you again!

The owner, Samantha, is insanely creative. Give her a concept and she will ROCK IT! Or, just browse her shop and purchase something she has already designed. I have bought five ornaments from her this year! I just keep placing orders….and she just keeps coming out with CUTE stuff!!!!  Samantha makes ornaments and jewelry, and I have a feeling she will continue to come up with new products.  PA friends, she’s a local girl- she grew up right up the road from me. Okay, this is getting a little ridiculous.  My clients are just sickly cute. This family takes it to a new level. I mean, LOOK at them! Ahhh!!!!  Little M is 10 months old  and I feel like he might be a good match for Ava, he has good genes (not to be confused with SKINNY JEANS)!  He was so very well-behaved and was kept wildly entertained by his also adorable aunt! (If I ever decide to take on an assistant, I’m called her first…)

These guys brought their dog, Dexter – who amazingly was also very well behaved (and handsome)!  He resisted the urge to chase squirrels, lacrosse players, and Quidditch players (yeah I’m not kidding).

This session was a long time coming. J and I just could not get our schedules in sync. She emailed me about a session last year, then something happened, then she contacted me when I was JUST about to have Ava, then I emailed her and told her I could squeeze her in right before I came back from my “photography maternity leave” (not to be confused with my teaching maternity leave which is rapidly coming to an end….), but she had JUST booked another photographer! No!

She contacted me again this summer and finally, finally, I got her on the books! YAY! We were scheduled for Saturday and it was supposed to be ugly, so thankfully the T’s were able to meet me midday Sunday. Sheesh! I am tired just typing this.

I am going to let the photos do the talking, but I must comment on the fact that little R has SKINNY JEANS!!!!!! OMG! Where do you even buy such a thing? I forgot to ask, but I must because Ava needs them! Love this family? Don’t worry, you’ll see them again next year, mom is expecting and is due on February 7~ MY birthday! Yahoo!!!

On Sunday morning, I headed out toward the Main Line for my first of three sessions that day.  Little did I know this adorable little blonde had other plans in mind.  She just really was not into me!  She made us WORK! Sometimes though, those sessions end up being my favorites- each picture is well-earned.  About halfway through the session, Miss V. morphed.  She turned into a giggling, smiling little monkey! It was so funny!  I guess she finally decided I wasn’t a creep

I just love this one…the curious kitty. V LOVES her kitties and they love her!

While editing this session, I informed my husband that our next house WILL have a sunroom. No ifs, ands, or buts! I love the light it provides!

These guys are really special to me–well B is (and because of B, S now is!). B and I went to college together and have not seen each other since we graduated (almost 5 years!). It was so nice to catch up with her, to meet and get to know S, and to talk about their little boy who is due in just a few months!

I hope the delivery is QUICK and healthy! I cannot wait to see the little guy when he gets here!
