Client Preview: The B’s * Montgomery County PA Family Photography

Last year, they showed up in chucks and argyle socks.  This year they went a totally different direction…and I think I’m in love.  L and A showed us a different side of themselves in this session- still completely fun, but now with a vintage, romantic side.  Sessions with L and A are nonstop laughter, conversation and excitement- the three of us came to the table up for anything and it shows!  This is only part one of their preview because there are a few more that I feel deserve their own post.

L & A~ Can’t even imagine what you’ll come up with next year for your SEVENTH anniversary!!!

Client Preview: V Family * Philadelphia Family Photographer

I am pleased to announce to you….Baby Alyssa!  Her mom is my husband’s cousin.  It was exciting to be pregnant as the same time as C, until just after Ava was born, C went into the hospital 3 weeks from her due date, having no idea what was about to unfold.

Alyssa is a true miracle baby- she survived something that has a 1 in 2-3000 chance of happening, something that has a 50-95% fetal mortality rate. Basically, when the cord was forming and connecting to the placenta, it connected incorrectly, leaving it exposed and vulnerable to rupture, which it did.  Most often, when a diagnosis such as this is made, the baby has already passed away.

This beautiful girl defied the odds.  She was born via emergency c-section, resuscitated, and flown to Thomas Jefferson (an incredible hospital in Philadelphia).  She was closely cared for and monitored in her first few weeks of life, and will be continued to be monitored for years for developmental milestones, but so far she continues to WOW all of us!  She is on track developmentally!

Not to mention, she’s gorgeous!!  Thank you C and J for allowing me to share your story… So many of my friends and family held you in their prayers and continue to do so…and I know how thrilled they will be to see these photos!

As I was saying, I present to you….. Miracle baby, Alyssa!!!!!!

Alyssa’s parents are music teachers so I thought the piano might be fitting…

Congratulations M and B!!! * Mongomery County Maternity Photographer

I’ve had to keep these pictures secret for a MONTH! M and B contacted me as soon as they found out they were expecting so we could do a shoot to help them announce their pregnancy to their loved ones!  They spilled the secret yesterday at their nephew’s birthday party!!!!

I can’t wait to meet Baby H!!!!!!

Client Preview: K Family * Philadelphia Family Photography

You may remember this cute family from last fall…little Mady was only a newborn then! Look how she’s grown. She now says “hi”, is starting to talk, and is just a little dollbaby!!!!! We met up in Chestnut Hill and painted the town red.  The manager at O’Doodles even allowed us to play and photograph IN the toystore!  [Side note..if you're looking for an amazing toy store--O'Doodles is it- right on Germantown Ave! We could have stayed there all day!]

It was so nice hanging out with you three again…enjoy!!!!!!

Today’s seriously cool things are rockin’ baby CDs by Rockabye Baby!

We have Bob Marley, AC/DC, and Johnny Cash for Ava and they are fabulous! No corny lullabys for Ava—only awesome music!!!!  I love calm Saturday mornings with a mug of coffee, some Bob Marley tunes, and my sweet baby girl!  JP likes to put on AC/DC to help her fall asleep.  The songs have all instrumental songs on them- think harps, guitars, chimes…so peaceful, so sweet, and so….cool!

We got a few of ours at a store in center city and one on amazon.  We bought my sister the U2 CD and my cousins have The Beatles…love it!
