Ever wonder how photographers get all those awesome shots?  Here’s a common scene at my house…

This is Ava modeling a tutu for Ballerina Bells.  Of course, Stretch is watching over her, making sure she’s safe.

The drawers are pulled out and padded, just in case Ava should roll faster than I can catch her.

*Safety should always be taken seriously. I am sure to always be within arm’s reach of Ava (if I need to be further back JP assists/spots),

and if I am photographing a client, I always have at least one parent spotting!!

Big Syd is now ONE year old!!!!

Look how much she’s grown since our first session last fall (@ 8 weeks old)!

As I am good friends with her mama, I have the pleasure of seeing Sydney often.  When I look back, it’s amazing how much she has grown and changed! She’s a big girl now!  This session was at Peace Valley Park. Sydney LOVED all the dogs!!!!

This session was a long time coming. One year to be exact. Mama and I emailed about it, then didn’t pick a date, then we emailed again, and again no date, and finally finally we got it on the schedule, just a little after his first birthday. Was it ever worth the wait!!!!!!!  Baby E is….well an adorable peanut!!!  He really enjoyed being a model and gave me some really good serious faces.  We had a fun time gallivanting all over Doylestown- he was a trooper!

Thank you, R family…I really enjoyed my time with you!  Generally I try to narrow it down to about 5 favorites but it just wasn’t happening with your session…:)  Enjoy!

I love when people post their “favorite things” on their blogs and I like a lot of things, so I want to share, too! I might share a product I have and love, a vendor I’ve used, or maybe just a fun “going green” idea.

Today’s Seriously Cool Thing:

Farm Fresh Produce….not from a grocery store.

I have always heard buying local is much cheaper than buying at a grocery store, but I will admit- I am a creature of habit. I was afraid to venture beyond the walls of Giant or Trader Joe’s.  I always thought, how much lower can the prices be? And, what if they don’t take debit (I never carry cash)?  A few weeks ago, a friend posted a Facebook status about 5 Points Produce in Montgomeryville (where 309, 202, and 463 meet).  I sent her a message asking for more details. She encouraged me to check it out and I’m so glad I did (thanks Monique!). I got all this for:

This past week I went again and got all kinds of stuff, including some stuff I rarely buy- like eggplant, zucchini and squash. I thought why not? The prices are cheap and we can have some variety in our meals! I bought so much that I needed a cardboard flat to carry it all out.  The grand total: $16!!!   I am addicted and happy to report we already ate the eggplant, zucchini, AND squash! I made eggplant parm last night, and a summer pasta two nights ago!

Where do you buy your produce? Any tips or secrets? OR have a great recipe for me to try?? I’m always down for some yummy meals-the healthier the better (baby weight hehe)!

I met K and C in Doylestown last Saturday evening. I was shocked when beautiful K showed up in gorgeous and very high heels!! Impressive!  The second I met these two it was like we had known each other forever which makes for a great and really fun session!  Best of luck in the rest of your pregnancy…you are almost there!

I can’t wait to meet baby A!
