Last Thursday night I was invited to a party in Chester County by Role Mommy at Colleen of classymommy.com’s house (thanks KC for the invite!). It was a night of pampering (massages, pedicures, make up, yummy food, and a really cool product demonstration/give away by Slendertone) for mom bloggers and mom-preneurs. I really enjoyed myself and was able to meet some fabulous women!

Today I met up with local photographer Angela Pursell and her handsome son, Ian. Oh my goodness, check out his eyelashes and sweet looks. We met in Doylestown, despite the fog and drizzly rain…and to our surprise the sun came out just in time for our session!

We had a lot of fun exploring the nooks and crannies of the town. Angela, thanks for meeting me today, and Ian- I think you have a modeling career in your future!!!

Hola, updates!

Hello all! I just figured I’d pop on and give a little update! I hope you have all been well. February has been a fun smattering of snow and spring-like temps. It’s also been a mix of really busy days and really sweet relaxing ones. JP and I have gotten a lot done around the house and are really looking forward to meeting our little one in less than two months!

I’m better at pictures so I’ll stop writing and start posting pics!

Last week was my 26th birthday! We had another party to go to on my actual birthday, so my friends and family celebrated the night before with dinner at my favorite restaurant.

The next day, we had a party to go to, but JP’s family was really sweet and remembered my birthday, too:)

The countdown to Ava is definitely on! We had our childbirth class last weekend and our shower is this coming weekend. Very exciting times. In the meanwhile, I haven’t forgotten about my first, second and third babies….

Love and Prayers to the Corbo Family

We found out this week that a fellow CHC graduate passed away after being diagnosed with Lukemia only 6 months ago. Our little community is just so sad to hear about Christine’s passing. She was goofy and fun and it was always a great time with her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this devastating time…

Christine Corbo

Christine Michelle Corbo, a marketing research and freelance writer, died on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after an illness.

Ms. Corbo was the loving daughter of Peter A. and Helene (Prestia) Corbo of East Norriton. Christine was born on March 2, 1983 in Norristown and graduated from Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic High School class of 2001, graduated Cum Laude from Chestnut Hill College, and was a member of St. Titus Church in East Norriton.

Christine was an avid volleyball player, a lover of music, enjoyed reading and had a thirst for knowledge and a passion for life.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her sisters: Alycia Corbo and Gina Corbo; paternal grandparents Vincent and Ann Corbo of East Norriton; maternal grandmother Geraldine Prestia of Norristown; maternal grandfather Theodore Prestia preceded her in death.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Christine’s ‘Life Celebration’ at the Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, (1-800-GIVNISH), on Sunday evening only February 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. and to celebrate her funeral Mass on Monday, February 16 at 11 a.m. in St. Titus Church.

Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in East Norriton.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family has requested that memorial donations in her memory be made to St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA 19403.

Ok, take a deep breath. This couple is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E…and they brought their pug, which just puts me over the edge. We met in the freezing cold this morning at Gwynedd Mercy College and took photos to celebrate their recent engagement. I just love the love between the three of these guys…and I love K’s eyes. Yes, they’re really that color and yes, they’re real (I asked)!

…and positively delectable. Check out Miss A…is she not perfect in every way? She was only a week old during this shoot and she slept through most of our session. She just looked so squishy and peaceful the entire time. What a precious girl.

Mom and Dad- congratulations, you did well. Your little family is so beautiful and full of love. I really enjoyed my time with you.
