Client Preview: J Family

The J family was referred to me through my cousin’s sister (thanks Rachel!). Check out these two little cuties~ M with her sweet looks and big eyes, and D with his chubby cheeks and tiny mohawk~ it doesn’t get much better than this!

We took some dressy pictures for their Christmas card photos and then switched to casual for another project which I believe is a present, so I will not be blogging about it, but it’s a really cool idea!

By now all of you know and love Miss Kate. At almost 3 years old, she is really starting to look like a little lady! She has grown so much since our first session last year.

This is only our….oh, 5th session? :):) Her mom is one of my bestest friends, so luckily, she feels the need to schedule with me often!

We met at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown~ such a lovely fall location

Client Preview: W Family

The W family have a special place in my heart because they were among my first clients last year! Because of this fact, I was very excited when they won the Christmas in July free session contest.

We met at Gwynedd Mercy College which is absolutely gorgeous. The kids and us had a good time exploring and avoiding the “high school kids”.

Each kid has such a different personality, they are all fabulous. Little man E rocked this session, quite the turn around from last year when he cried almost the entire time!!! (He asked his mom, “Was I a baby then?” How cute!)

Amy contacted me a few weeks ago to set up a session for her and her daughter, and her two nephews as a surprise to her brother and sister in law. What a cool surprise!
We met in 2 degree weather early Sunday morning (okay fine, it wasn’t 2 degrees, but it sure felt that way, didn’t it? ).

The boys weren’t too sure about playing outside in the chill but her daughter ran around like she owned the place! Thank you to all of you for being such wonderful troopers- enjoy!!!!

Juried Art Exhibition

My photograph “United We Stand?” made it into this year’s Juried Photography Show at The Philadelphia Sketch Club! I was thrilled to be in it for the second year in a row. Last year “Momento Dolce” and “Divine Lorraine” made it in, and “Momento Dolce” won The Tony Rubel Prize for Figure Photography.

The gallery opening was October 12 from 2-5pm. The exhibition ran from October 10 through October 26, 2008.

The Philadelphia version of The Bump is due out in the next few months. Our lovely Paige was interviewed for an article called, “My Philadelphia Pregnancy” and one of my photos will be used!

JP and I are expecting our first baby in April!

Our first baby is due April 10! Barring any craziness, I plan to stop sessions on March 1, and will plan to resume in July 2009. Before July, I will only be able to consider booking maternity and newborn sessions, circumstances permitting.
I will accept July bookings in March!

McCain Rally

This weekend was crazy. My friend’s mom scored JP and I two tickets to the McCain rally and we figured hey, why not!? It was a cool experience as neither of us have ever been so close to so many big politicians. Besides the fact that we stood in an airport hanger for FIVE hours, it was a fun time.

We took the bus from the high school.

We walked back though because there were wayyyy too many people waiting!
