This weekend Jp, Stretch and I snuck away for some much needed relaxation. We stayed with JP’s grandmother right by Ocean City. When we arrived there was a beautiful rainbow, and it was only when I was editing that I noticed it was a DOUBLE rainbow!

Many of you will recognize this beautiful lady from Kamila Harris Photography. If you are local then you know she is a big wedding photographer in the area. I have been fortunate to become friends with Kamila ever since I won the Trash the Dress contest back in May. Imagine my excitement when she contacted me to book a session for her five year anniversary with her husband. We emailed about the session for a few weeks as we brainstormed fun places in Doylestown to shoot.

This was the first time I ever shot in the evening (6:30-8:30), and you’ll agree, the results are fabulous.

Ashley contacted me awhile back when she was looking for a photographer to help her and her husband celebrate their 5 year anniversary. I knew as we exchanged emails that this session would be extremely fun. We met by the art museum in Philadelphia, by the waterworks.

Yesterday we went to Aunt Gina’s to celebrate JP’s cousin Frankie’s 14th birthday.

I had driven directly from a shoot downtown and met JP and Stretch with the help of my GPS. I was hot and really tired, so I wasn’t going to bring in my camera, but you know me…I ran out to the car and got it halfway through:)

This weekend was completely crazy. It was scheduled to the brim, and threats of weather changed EVERYTHING. A type A girl does not deal well with all this change in plans, but it enabled me to be home and get some stuff done around the house, as well as spend time with JP and his cousin Natalie (whom he was babysitting while I was to be out shooting).

Yesterday was Lori’s birthday, so we took some shots of Natalie as a gift. Lori just doesn’t know yet:)

Last but not least, Natalie giving me “the hammer”. Her trusty sidekick Stretch is by her feet!

I had to say goodbye to an awesome student last week (she’s moving on to kindergarten and leaving me boooo). She drug me to her cubby and pulled out a gift for me- check out the handmade card:
