Meet Andrew, his mom Katie, and his dad Steve.

We cannot go any further in this post without addressing Andrew’s gorgeous, pouty, kissy baby lips! He is so stinkin’ cute! And for a one year old little man he did really well during the session. He kept the three of us on the go for the entire hour and a half, he was so funny.

Thank you Katie and Steve for allowing me to spend time with your family Saturday, I had a great time, and I hope you enjoy the photos!

BCIU Annual Report

Yesterday debuted my second publication of the year- the Bucks County Intermediate Unit’s Annual Report to the Community. This was a special project I worked on with the PR department and I have to say, I love the results!

10/4, 10/5: afternoon session
10/11,10/12: AM session
10/26: am or pm session

Remember you can do a full session for $250 (1-1.5 hours)
OR a mini session for $75 (30 minutes)

Mini sessions are recommended for smaller groups, or for clients who have already had a full session this year.

Last weekend we got to have another sweet escape, this time with my mother in law (hi momb!) to her friend’s cabin in the Poconos. It was a quiet relaxing weekend, mostly spent on the dock by the water. Thanks for the invite Joe!

Our cat Hank acquired some matted hair and JP made it his life’s goal to take care of it. Step one, brush, step two cut, step three brush, step four, we’re getting drastic here- bath time! Hank’s first ever bath!!!

As you can see it was a family affair.

Do you have a Chipotle near you?

Recently they have been popping up everywhere and I am a huge huge fan. Last week I won the fishbowl lunch after I put my business card in the fish bowl. I just picked it up and man, what a yummy yummy meal! I get the veggie fajita burrito and add guac. Their ingredients are all very fresh and simple delicious! Thank you Chipotle!

Also, yesterday I went to lunch and the movies with my sister and our sweet “aunt” Sylvia. Aunt Sylvia is the grandmother/older aunt that we never had, though at this point she has been in our lives for many many years. She’s the best, we had so much fun with her. After lunch we went to see Mamma Mia!! Squeeeeeeeeeeeel! My mom gave me the Broadway soundtrack years ago, and I love it. It’s a great car CD for when you are by yourself and just want to sing your heart out. I am serious when I say the three of us GRINNED during the entire movie. The scenery and costumes were beautiful, the cast was varied and talented, and the music, oh the music. So fun. Do yourself a favor and RUN to see it!

…to my girl KC. KC and I met at a vendor show a few months ago. As you’ll remember I met her, her husband, and their daughter (2 year old) Lilly at the Norristown Zoo about a month ago for a photo session.

KC is amazingly sweet, crafty and witty. She was a great client, and owns a wonderful business, which I have posted about (www.diaperbagwrangler.com). Last week KC found out that she has breast cancer at the tender age of 30. I am not sure of the details yet, but having gone through all of this with my mom, I do know she will need love, support and well-wishes. She is handling this how only she could, with a take charge attitude.

If you feel inclined, check out her website, buy something for yourself (if you have a baby) or for a friend who’s having a baby (don’t forget work showers!). Her products are handmade, beautiful and sturdy. Give her a nice boost and a distraction and get something lovely for yourself at the same time!

Ok, so you have seen Natalie a million times on my blog, but she is still just as gorgeous as ever. Last Friday, her mom and dad, she and I headed to Graeme Park. We had fun exploring this beautiful historic site. These are Natalie’s 2 year old pictures, I can’t beleive how big she is getting.

Eagles Game

Last night we went to the Eagle’s Game- my first, and JP’s first at the Linc. Even though it was pre-season we were pumped. I drove into the city and picked up JP @ work, then we drove to Chickie and Pete’s for dinner. After a man totally butted in front of me (thanks “Rocco”), we found out there was an hour wait…..no thanks!
We saw a Maggie Moos right next to it so we had ice cream for dinner instead (ah the joy of being a grown up!).

We got to the stadium, which was awesome, and walked around a bit. We went to our seats (which were also awesome) and watched most of the warm up.

The start of the game was exciting and fun, and about 10 minutes into it, it started to POUR!!! We had a huge rain delay with thunder and lightening…

We stood huddled with 8 billion people under a roof and slept with our eyes open while we waited for the rain to stop….
It took FOREVER. Finally we decided to bust out and make a dash for the car. But we were parked like 4857 miles away, so there was no running (I was in flip flops), but on the plus side, we didn’t get struck by lightening. By the time we arrived at the car, we were SOAKED. Thankfully JP’s work clothes were in the car, so I wore his button down shirt and wrapped his undershirt around my hair to stop my bun from dripping freezing water down my back!
