Jodi, Mark, and the "kids"

Posted on May 20, 2008

A session for a good cause….Jodi and Mark won a session with me in a silent auction that two bars in Lafayette Hill (I THINK one was Brittinghams….and the other….not sure) put on to benefit two guys who lost most everything in an apartment fire.

We met Sunday at Ft. Washington State Park and spent the morning exploring the park with Jodi’s brother (who was on dog duty during human pictures) and Willie (boxer)and Sophie (rotwieler).

Jodi and Mark have been married for 5 years…and were up for any photos I suggested. I had a great time guys, thank you for bidding on the photo session!!!

And of course- a few silly ones. This was at the end, after the pups went swimming and were pretty tired out.

PS- I’m still trying to get over the fact that at the end of the session they confessed they are Penguins AND Steelers fans…and Jodi’s brother had a COWBOYS shirt on.

Man oh man. :)

Today was my friend Melinda’s baby shower. She’s due in July…I can’t believe how quickly its coming up! She got so many cute little girl outfits, plus a lot of stuff she registered for.
Congratulations Melinda and Rob:)

Wow, this game looks tame, but there was some fierce competition during this game!

Julia by JP, and by me

Posted on May 18, 2008

I had to show these images, even though they’re pictures of pictures- they show Julia and I through the years:) The one where we’re on the floor is my freshman year of college, and the one where she’s in her chair is my college graduation (’05)! Awww!

Julia

Posted on May 18, 2008

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Julia, a girl who I have known/loved for seven years. I met her when she was just 3 and I was her camp counselor. In the years since then I have been her camp counselor, 1:1 aide in school, respite care giver, and friend. My family has fallen in love with her (MAN how my mom glowed when I’d show up with Julia at the door), and I’ve (and JP!) become very close with her parents. I can’t believe she is 10 years old~she’s still just as cute as ever!

Matt and Amy, enjoy your preview! Love you guys!

I have to explain this shirt- before Julia even was born, one of Matt’s friends gave it to him and said, “Here you’re going to want this some day” (Matt=biggest KISS fan ever!) And now she fits in it- and looks rather kick butt in it I must say!

Rosi. Patrick. Teagan.

Posted on May 13, 2008

Rosi and Patrick are PHS’rs who were friends long before they dated.
Miss Teagan is their GORGEOUS two-year-old daughter.
Rosi and I became friends in 7th grade, and the fun hasn’t stopped since.
Rosi and Pat got married on April 20th in Jamaica!
We couldn’t be there, but we were able to go to their home reception.
Here are a few fun photos from the night.

Teagan gave an inpromptu speech that included: I love you, mommy. And a rendition of “Bringin’ Home my Baby BumbleBee”.

Uh oh…uncontrolled dancing to follow:

A little battle of the cake ensued…

Patrick and Teagan had fun!

Our table and Natalie and I….

Yes my husband looks like he needs to be committed. It’s very entertaining to him…so you might as well get used to it!

Congratulations Rosi and Patrick!!!!!!
