Yup, you read that correctly, it’s our first wedding anniversary today!!!!!
As we both have to work today, and JP has class tonight, we celebrated last night in Olde City @ Buddakan. JP went there for a work lunch recently, and knew it was right up my alley…and he was right. I loved it!
We ate a lot, enjoyed atmosphere, had a few drinks, and just had a super time.
The waiter knew it was our anniversary and he brought out our dessert with A SPARKLER ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!! How fun is that????? AND, how excited was I when I opened the dessert menu and saw ice wine? Some people celebrate with champagne, but ever since JP’s 25th bday when we went up to Canada, we have celebrated big events (including our wedding toast!) with ice wine. Yum yum yum. That, the sparkler, and my hubby topped the evening off!
